How can I tell when a book was catalogued?
You can tell when a book was cataloged in Sirsi by using the ITEM SEARCH and selecting the Call Number/Item tab. On the left-hand side, you will see the Date Created. To the right of that you should also see the ITEM TYPE. If the item was catalogued in the last 2 months it will list as a NEW-BOOK and not be available for hold request outside of HindsCC. Otherwise, the item type will be listed as BOOK.
